blueTwo Canadian men were arrested in Ottawa on 25 August and a third was arrested in London, Ontario, on 26 August during a counter-terrorism operation targeting suspected Islamist militants who were alleged to have been planning bomb attacks in Ottawa. Police said the arrests were made now “because of the imminence of certain things”.
