At least 50 people were killed and 100 others were wounded when two Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) suicide bombers attacked a local administration compound in Ghalanai in Mohmand Agency in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) on 6 December. The compound was hosting talks between government officials, tribal elders, and local anti-Taliban groups when it was attacked.
