30 suspected Taliban militants were killed in Pakistan

At least 30 suspected Afghan Taliban militants were killed in a retaliatory air strike in Pakistani-territory following an attack by the militants on a coalition outpost in a remote area of Afghanistan’s Khowst province on 24 September. There were no casualties in the initial attack. An additional four militants were also killed in Pakistani territory on 25 September when two coalition helicopters conducted a follow-up operation in the area.
