Four militants died in clashes in north Macedonia between polica and UCK

Four militants were killed by retaliatory fire when they opened fire on a police checkpoint from a truck in an unreported location in the north near the border with Kosovo early on 12 May. Police officials stated that two of those killed were ethnic Albanians, and a third was from Kosovo, while the insignia of Ushtria Çlirimtare Kombëtare (UCK), or National Liberation Army, was found on the corpses.
